WAMATECH A/S was established in 1997 by the engineer Mr. Finn Schnoor in the city of Odense where the company is still situated. The foundation of the company was Mr. Schnoor’s extensive knowledge within waste handling and treatment of recyclable materials. Knowledge he gained through many years of service working as a technical engineer for some of the largest companies in the field e.g. Marius Pedersen A/S and HI Hansen. As an employee, Mr. Schnoor was in close contact with the companies Harris Waste Management and Granutech Saturn both from the USA. During the years, the two American companies and Mr. Schnoor established a very close business relationship and when he decided to start his own company he was selected as exclusive distributor for both companies. During the years, Wamatech A/S also established business relationships with e.g. ABBA Pressen Technik from Germany. In 2005, Mr. Schnoor decided to sell his company. It was bought by Mr. Poul Steffensen, a former technical director from Marius Pedersen and Mr. Schnoor’s first customer. In 2007, Mr. Allan Møller Hansen joined the company as partner. Mr. Hansen was a member of the board in Wamatech A/S before he joined in as a full time partner. With a well executed change of generations Wamatech A/S is prepared for the future and looking forward to a good cooperation with your company. Mr. Schoor has retired, but is still visiting the company for a cup of coffee and a good talk! Management: |
